Terms and conditions applicable to the client who has purchased an individual accommodation reservation at Kuyay Hostel
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR INDIVIDUAL RESERVATIONS
1.1. Policy for entering the hostel (Check-In) and leaving the hostel (Check-Out)
Your reservation starts at 2:00 p.m. m. (14 Hours) on the day of arrival and ends at 12:00 p.m. m. (12:00 pm) on the day of departure.
1.2. Accommodation registration card TAR (Register Card)
Yo. Tourist accommodation service providers must register guests by filling out the accommodation registration card in the system that, for all purposes, is provided by the national government of the Republic of Colombia.
ii. The accommodation registration card is proof of the accommodation contract.
1.3. Entry Policy before 02:00 p.m – Early Check In
i. Subject to availability.
ii. For admissions prior to 8:00 a.m. the entire night is charged.
iii. Income between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. 1/4 part of the current rate will be charged for the rate purchased during your stay.
1.4. Early Departure Policy or prior to your reserved departure date – Early Departure
Yo. For these purposes, the guest must inform his early departure one day in advance of the new departure date, so that the hostel has the room for sale.
ii. In case of not providing said information, the guest will be subject to the charge of the subsequent nights until their reserved departure date.
1.5. Policy Late checkout or after 12:00 p.m. -Late Check Out

ii. Late check out until 4:00 p.m. (4:00 p.m.) without charge. Subject to availability
iii. Late check out between 17:00 (4:00 p.m.) and 22:00 (7:00 p.m.) will be charged the full rate purchased by the guest in their reservation.
2. Cancellation and Modification Policy
Yo. You may cancel or modify your reservation(s) without penalty if you do so before 24 hours (3:00 p.m.) the day before your arrival date; If you do not make use of your reservation and have not canceled or modified it within the established time, you will be charged a penalty for the value of the first night of accommodation plus taxes and additional services reserved. Does not apply to non-refundable rates.
ii. Non-guaranteed reservations will be canceled 72 hours before the arrival date
3.Registration Policy for Minors
If you are traveling with your child(ren) under 18 years of age, you must present the identification document of the minor(s) (civil registry), which demonstrates said relationship. If the minor(s) does not travel in the company of their parents, you must deliver at the reception, in addition to the minor’s identification document (civil registry), the permission of the parents, which must be be authenticated by a Notary and accompanied by a copy of the identification document of those who gave the authorization. Without this documentation, minors are not allowed to enter the hostel. The foregoing according to the provisions of Law 679 of 2001 Statute to Prevent the Sexual Exploitation of Boys, Girls and Adolescents and its concordant regulations.
4.Anti-Corruption and Anti-Fraud Policy
Dishonest conduct or practices that violate business integrity will not be allowed, such as: offering or accepting gifts, invitations, or other types of incentives that may reward or influence to take or refrain from taking any commercial or legal measure, or when you intentionally hide, alter, falsify or omit information for your own benefit or for the benefit of others, or the incursion into possible conflicts of interest that could put personal priorities before collective ones; promoting a culture of ethics, transparency and rectitude in the development of activities.
5.Smoking policy
We would like to inform you that our hotel is a SMOKE FREE property. For your health and safety, smoking is NOT allowed in the room, if this rule is not respected, an amount of COP 900.0000 + VAT will be charged, which will be reflected in your account.
6. Escort Policy
For security reasons, all our guests must be registered at the reception during check-in. The entry of new guests during the stay is not allowed. Kuyay Hostel will not admit the registration of additional or accompanying guests, according to its security policies if they were not registered at the time of the “check in”.

7.Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing Prevention Policy
We are aware of and are committed to the fight against Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing – LA/FT, therefore we require all your efforts to prevent the company from being involved in illegal acts, both for reasons of loyalty, ethics and legality, in compliance with a policy in accordance with legal regulations. Thus, the client declares under oath, which is understood to be provided with the signing of the contract, that the resources that make up his assets do not come from money laundering, financing of terrorism, drug trafficking, illegal collection of money and in general of any illegal activity; In the same way, it manifests that the resources delivered or that it will deliver as consideration for the services offered by the hostel, come from lawful activity. For the purposes of the foregoing, the client expressly authorizes the hostel to consult the lists, information systems and databases to which there is a place and to find any report, the hostel will proceed to advance the contractual and / or legal actions that correspond. The client undertakes to carry out all the necessary activities or procedures, aimed at ensuring that its partners, administrators, contractors, clients, suppliers, employees, etc., and/or their resources, are not related to or come from illegal activities. , particularly, of those previously stated. These conducts will give rise to the legitimate termination of the lodging contract by the hotel operator.
8. Declaration of Origin and Destination of Funds
The guest declares that his economic and/or physical resources do not come from nor will they be used for illegal activities of those contemplated in the Colombian Penal Code or in any norm that modifies or adds it.

9.Personal Data Processing Authorization
The guest authorizes Kuyay Hostel to process their personal data, which have been delivered through various marketing channels such as websites, call centers, among others.
The hostel informs that personal data will be kept carefully, in accordance with the provisions of Law 1266 of 2008, Law 1581 of 2012, Decree 1377 of 2013 and other regulations that modify, regulate or expand the regulation on the matter. , as well as what is contemplated in the Manual of Privacy Policies and Treatment of Personal Data.
ADDITIONAL POLICIES ON THE RESERVATION.
10. Withdrawal Policy
When reserving our services through the kuyay.co portal or directly with the hostel via email or phone calls, you can exercise the right of withdrawal no later than three business days from the purchase confirmation. The retraction will not proceed for reservations whose entry date is before three days.
To apply for the right of withdrawal, send an email to servicioalcliente@kuyay.co. The refund of the money will be made without deductions of any kind, by bank deposit in the name of the holder of the reservation or by reversion to the credit card used for the purchase, depending on the payment method used, within the following 30 calendar days from the moment in which the right is exercised.
11.Revervation Policy
When you book our services through kuyay.co or the Central Reservations and you have used a credit or debit card or any other electronic payment instrument as a means of payment and the means of payment used is issued by a financial institution domiciled in Colombia, may request the reversal in case of fraud, unsolicited operation or product purchased not received.
12.NO PRESENTATION (NO SHOW)
When the user of the tourist services fails to comply by not showing up or not using the agreed services, the HOSTEL may demand, at its option, the payment of 20% of the total price or established rate or withhold the deposit or advance payment previously received from the user. if so agreed.
If you make a reservation through channels that are not direct with the hotel or kuyay.co and require modification or cancellation, you must do so with the agency or website where you originally booked. HOSTEL Kuyay will not make changes to reservations that are not made directly between the client and the HOSTEL.
i. The HOSTEL is a commercial establishment open to the public with restricted access. The HOSTEL reserves the right of admission and permanence within its facilities.
ii. The HOSTEL has no obligation to extend the accommodation contracts if there is no room, except in exceptional cases in accordance with the law.
iii. The HOSTEL may relocate the guest to another hotel or proceed to refund the money in case of overbooking.
iv. The HOSTEL has closed circuit television, so the guest will be recorded for security reasons, except in the rooms. The recordings are private to the hostel and the guest will not have access to them, except by order of a competent judicial authority.
v. The guest is prohibited from making recordings in their areas with sexual, offensive, ridiculing activities that affect reputation or that threaten life or health.

13. LIABILITY FOR LOSS
If the HOSTEL does not deliver the objects that the GUEST wishes to be kept, the HOSTEL will be exonerated from all responsibility in case of loss or damage to the goods, such as money, credit or debit cards, paper money, travel check, jewelry, cameras, equipment, utensils, cell phones, tablets or any other electronic device, etc., since these goods will be under the sole and exclusive domain of the GUEST. For this, THE HOSTEL has a custody area at no cost. In case of loss or misplacement of the key, THE GUEST must pay $30,000 COP, considering that THE HOSTEL must hire an expert to change the guards and make a new key.
14. WARNING: A) THE EXPLOITATION AND ABUSE OF MINORS IN COLOMBIA ARE CRIMES JUDGED FULLY WITH DEPRIVATION OF LIBERTY. (LAW 679 OF 2001), which authorizes the HOSTEL to report to the competent authorities, any criminal act against minors. The HOSTEL protects children and adolescents from all types of sexual and commercial exploitation (ESSNNA), for this reason its employees have signed a code of conduct to prevent this type of action.
i. All under age boys or girls must remain in the company of their parents or a responsible adult, for this it is essential to present the identity record of the minor, which allows The HOSTEL to establish a relationship between the minor and the adult.
